It starts with the soil…

It’s safe to say that without the soil, there’d be no plants to grow. No plants means no food including meat, for what would the cows eat? It’s the source of all our nutrients and the beginning to this story, to understand why organic matters. Even back in 1947, J.I. Rodale understood the absolute importance of proper soil conservation. And so began the Rodale Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to finding scientific evidence supporting the sustainability of organic soil and farming versus conventional.
